Homemade Recipes for Dry and Damaged Hair

It is very hard to manage the hair. Many of us suffer from the problem of dry hair. The cause of this problem may be harsh chemicals, improper care, genetics or hot styling products. The hairs which do not have enough oil and moisture to maintain it's shining and texture is called dry. Excess use of shampoo is also one of the main causes of dryness. Try to use the shampoo not more than twice a week. Due to some health problem also, many person can suffer from this horror creating problem of dry hair such as hypothyroidism, hyperparathyroidism and malnutrition.

Various homemade recipes are there to overcome from this problem. They are-

Apply the mixture of one beaten egg and 3 tablespoons of water, to your scalp and your hair.
Take any vegetable oil and mix one tablespoon of honey in it apply evenly to your scalp and hair.

Apply the mixture of 3 tablespoon of olive oil with 2 tablespoon of honey thoroughly. Cover your hair with a shower cap for 10-15 minutes. Rinse it after doing shampoo.

Soak fenugreek (methi) seeds in water overnight. Make fine paste of this seed and apply to your scalp and the hair. Wash with mild shampoo after 15 minutes. It is a nice and effective homemade recipe.

Take a ripe banana and mash it, massage this paste after mixing few drops of olive oil in it to your hair. After 15 minutes, first rinse it with soda water, then by shampoo. At last use conditioner to condition your hair. For damaged and dry hair this is the best recipe.

Thoroughly massage your head with olive oil. Cover your head with a shower cap and leave it for 20 minutes. For extra conditioning you may wash with warm water.

Take the white of an egg and add 6 tablespoons of yoghurt into it after beating the egg until it foams. Apply evenly to the hair for 15 minutes and then rinse it.

Apply mayonnaise to your hair - cover it with a plastic bag for 20 minutes and then rinse it.

Blend two and a half tablespoons dried milk, one egg, one tablespoon wheat germ oil and apply this mixture to your hair and leave it for an hour then shampoo with mild herbal shampoo. This recipe will give extra shining and texture.

Mix 2 whole eggs, 2 tablespoons coconut milk, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon coconut oil, 2 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoon of sesame oil in a mixer. Apply this mixture to your hair for 5 minutes and rinse it with warm water.
